Born in Michigan, Cris Treharne grew up in New Jersey – where she launched her first career as an Aerographer and Oceanographer in the Navy.  The inspiration for her jewelry, handmade beads and folk sculptures is rooted in her life and work around the world.  Cris’ work is featured in galleries, boutiques, and giftshops across North Carolina.  She lives in Wake Forest with her husband and their cats.
